HIGH HOLY DAYS DONATION

Our community depends on the annual High Holy Day appeal to provide programming and events as well as Jewish worship and community.

We thank you for both your good company and for your generosity in support of our efforts. Your contribution makes a difference.

Please note: At Shomrei Torah, no one is turned away for financial reasons.

 

Suggested Member donation to attend multiple services:

Per MEMBER household/family: $360 | Per MEMBER individual: $180

Suggested Member donation to attend one service:

Per MEMBER household/family: $180 | Per MEMBER individual: $90

Suggested Non-Member donation to attend multiple services:

Per NON-MEMBER household/family: $432 | Per NON-MEMBER individual: $252

Elisha's Pantry Nonperishable Food    & Essential Items Collection

This Holy Days, your donation of nonperishable food and essential items benefits those in need in our local community through Elisha’s Pantry, a joint endeavor sponsored by Shomrei Torah, Christ Church United Methodist, and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

On Kol Nidre and Yom Kippur morning, bring your donation items to services at the Center for Spiritual Living. Your contribution will help us assist our community.

Please refer to the list below when selecting items to donate.

Please, no items past the expiration date.


Laundry Detergent, 10 oz or bigger   Canned Tuna/Chicken Canned Beans (any type)

Dedicate a Prayer Book

Dedicating a Machzor (High Holy Day prayer book) is a longstanding Jewish tradition, an enduring way to express your support for Shomrei Torah, honor a friend or loved one, celebrate a lifecycle event, or remember someone you’ve lost. Book plates are available for $18 each and will be attached to the inside cover of a Shomrei Torah Machzor.
