    Interfaith Symposium on Food Insecurity

    Rabbi Emeritus George Gittleman of Congregation Shomrei Torah invites you to an Interfaith Symposium on Food Insecurity—a community gathering to learn, connect, and collaborate on addressing hunger in Sonoma County. The evening will feature Allison Goodwin, President & CEO of the Redwood Empire Food Bank, along with a panel of local partners engaged in front-line hunger relief: Linda Mansell – Windsor Presbyterian Church Maria Dwyer – Community Baptist Church, Santa Rosa Vicki Groniga – Elisha’s Pantry Participants will gain insight into the scope and impact of hunger in our region and explore practical, collaborative ways faith communities and community members can support neighbors in need. The symposium is co-sponsored by Elisha’s Pantry, an interfaith non-profit dedicated to alleviating hunger in Santa Rosa, and the Social Action Committee of Congregation Shomrei Torah. All are welcome—leaders and members of faith-based organizations, community partners, and anyone interested in helping address hunger in Sonoma County.
