The benefits are equally rewarding whether you are the giver or the receiver. For these reasons, and because the need is so great right now, I urge you to think about joining the Caring Committee’s meal train. This small but mighty group provides meals to congregants who are recovering from illness, injury or the birth of a child.
They desperately need your help. During the initial days of the pandemic, participation in the meal train dropped sharply. We now know that COVID-19 cannot be transmitted via food. Dropping off meals can be done safely using disposable containers and leaving the meal at the front door.

To care and to be cared for are two of the greatest gifts in life.
When you are making dinner and could make a little extra, it would be most appreciated.
You don’t need to become a committee member to participate in this mitzvah.
