Religious School
Shomrei Torah Religious School (STaRS) welcomes children in grades K-7 into our nurturing, joyful and hands-on Jewish education program.
Our primary educational goals are to open a door to learning for every student and to foster a love of Jewish tradition and community. Our goal is that every child will be a lifelong participant in Jewish communal life.
To make Jewish education fully accessible to your family, we offer compelling programming, online materials for Hebrew study at home, family education opportunities, field trips, and an open-door policy for parents and guardians to volunteer. We expect our students to support and participate in the life of our synagogue, their Jewish community and the community at large
STaRS this school year will be different than ever before, we will not be meeting in person in the Fall. With that in mind, we have created a religious school curriculum that will allow our students and families to continue their learning, growth, and connection with the community.

STaRS this year will be different than ever before.
Following the Sonoma County public schools, and guidance of what is best for our community, we will not be meeting in person in the Fall. With that in mind, we have created a religious school curriculum that will allow our students and families to continue their learning, growth, and connection with the community.
This year's curriculum is packed with fun projects, activities, and lessons that will create hands-on and meaningful opportunities to engage with Judaism at home and virtually as a community. We are so excited to share it with you!
Please watch Rabbi Kramer's overview of our curriculum: Building Your Own Palace in Time!
We welcome parent participation as we continue to develop our program.
Feel free to contact our Associate Rabbi and Education Director, Rabbi Stephanie Kramer, at 707-578-5519 or email rabbikramer@cstsr.org.
If you have questions about registration or any other Religious School concerns, please email our Youth Coordinator at youth@cstsr.org.
