By participating in a Chavurah and groups, you will have the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy meaningful connections, and strengthen your bond with fellow CST members in a warm and supportive environment.

This survey is designed to support your connection and engagement at Congregation Shomrei Torah. Social Connections, our new subcommittee of the Membership Committee, will review the responses by the end of January and use the data for planning events and new groups.

Caring Committee-Coordinates support for congregants in need, supports shiva minions, etc.Cultural Committee- Presents Jewish cultural events for congregational enjoyment and community buildingDevelopment Committee- Strategizes and raises funds to ensure CST continues vibrant programming and sustainability, in coordination with Finance CommitteeFinance Committee-Reviews income/expenses, investments, budget and provides recommendations and guidance to the Board of DirectorsGift Shop- Oversees gift shop inventory, pricing and salesHuman Resources Committee- Assists Executive Director, Rabbi and staff with HR compliance mattersLegacy Circle Committee- Organizes events for existing members of the Legacy Circle and education events for congregantsLibrary Committee- Maintains and organizes the CST library located in the Kolbo roomLifelong Learning Committee- Coordinates various educational programs for membersMembership Committee- Supports new member onboarding and enhances participation and membership engagementOneg Committee- Provides challah, sets up kiddish and coordinates refreshments for Shabbat onegsReligious Practice Committee- Assists clergy with communal observances and resources for home practiceSecurity Committee- Reviews policies, infrastructure, training, membership workshops and security recommendations to the Board of DirectorsSocial Action Committee (SAC)- Organizes programs advancing social justice and engagement opprotunities for members and the communityYouth Committee- Supports the Director of Education and Youth Engagement and youth programming at CST
