What is an Oneg?
An ONEG is a casual festive gathering on Friday night after Shabbat service, usually involving food and fulfilling the mitzvah of enjoying Shabbat.
Who can sponsor an Oneg?
YOU! Individuals, committees, chavurahs, B’Mitzvah cohorts, etc.
Why sponsor an Oneg?
In honor of a milestone, the birth of a child, anniversary, or just because. It is a great way to contribute back to the community and to support the work of our Oneg committee.
What does sponsoring an Oneg entail?
You can shop for and bring your own refreshments on the Friday of your Oneg OR you can make a one-time donation and we will shop for you!

It was at age 50 that she made the intentional choice to convert to Judaism, a decision that transformed her sense of identity and belonging. Today, Paula is a powerhouse of global Jewish leadership. Whether she is serving on the boards of the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation and the Anti-Defamation League or collaborating with the global leaders of the Voice of the People council, Paula brings a unique perspective on the most urgent matters facing our community.
