This one-hour Zoom class taught by CST member Cy Wilcox will introduce you to the basics of sourdough baking - from making your own starter to baking your first batch of bread. 

Sourdough is fun, requires no kneading, and involves very little hands-on time while the dough ferments.  We will discuss a basic sourdough recipe in detail - converting flour, water, salt and wild yeast into delicious yummy sourdough bread you can make at home!  While we don’t have 8 hours to ferment the dough, there will be videos showing the various steps involved.

Depending on interest, there may be follow-up classes or workshops conducted over Zoom in the months following.
