Honoring the Legacy of Marnie Schwartz

Longtime member and past president, Marnie Schwartz, died in the Tubbs Fire in 2017, but her legacy will live on. Congregation Shomrei Torah is establishing the Marnie Schwartz Fund for Life Long Learning in her name. 

At this tisch, we will tell her story, including the moving, interfaith effort to transport her remains to Israel, and we will celebrate the legacy she leaves behind.

On the second Friday of each month, join your Shomrei Torah family at the Rabbi’s Tisch (table) in lieu of regular Friday night Shabbat service. 

Evening Schedule (times are approximate):
6:15 - 6:45 - Shabbat Blessings and Meal
6:45 - 7:10 - Misheberach and Kaddish
7:15 - 8:15 - Speaker Presentation

To ensure that we have enough food, please register by Wednesday before the Tisch. 

$12 suggested donation for the catered meal. Please reserve your seat below to attend in person.
