The focus of this year’s commemoration will be on our local Holocaust survivors. It will include both live and pre-recorded elements featuring video footage of Shomrei Torah members Hans Angress, Al and Susanne Batzdorff, and Lillian Judd.

There will be musical performances by Shomrei Torah's Cantorial Soloist Erica Wisner, Congregation Ner Shalom’s Good Shabbos Band, and Cantorial Soloist Fredi Bloom. There will also be a candle lighting ceremony honoring Jewish survivors, Roma, Gays & Lesbians, Disabled, Righteous Gentiles, and Political Prisoners during the Holocaust, and those targeted by genocide.
