2025 - 2026 Religious School Registration



Dear Shomrei Torah Families,

We’d like to thank you for entrusting STaRS with your child’s Jewish education and encourage you to invite Jewish friends to enroll their children in STaRS.  We are really proud of the positive experience that STaRS provides for Jewish youth and would love to see more children and families benefit from this community. 

No family will be turned away from STaRS due to financial hardship.  Please request financial assistance by clicking on the link below, or contact Katie Evenbeck at katie@cstsr.org for assistance throughout the school-year.

Opening day of STaRS is Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 9:30 AM

Rates for 2025-2026 school year will be:

Kiddish (Pre-K: Ages 2-5 years old) $180
Yesod (Level 1 / 5-8 years old) $1,052/year
Gemesh (Level 2 / 8-10 years old) $1,402/year
Netzach (Level 3 / 10-12 years old) $1,402/year
Bina (Level 4 / 12-13 years old) $930/year

Register before July 1 to receive an early bird discount of $50 per student!

Additionally, families will receive a $50 discount per sibling after the first child (example: a family registering two kids will receive $50 dollars off, three kids, $100 dollars off, etc.)
A $200 deposit per student (minus discounts) will be due at the completion of this registration.

Student Information
Please note that a $200 Per Student deposit is due at the end of the registration process.  This deposit goes toward the total tuition amount. There is a separate registration form for children ages 2-5 who wish to attend our KIDdish program.

Scholarships 
Congregation Shomrei Torah is committed to providing Jewish education for our families. There is room for everyone who would like to attend STaRs. We do not turn away families for lack of funds. Historically, scholarship awards have ranged from 10% to 50% of the tuition fee.

Medical Release 
By signing my name below, my child(ren) have permission to participate in the religious school of Congregation Shomrei Torah. I authorize Congregation Shomrei Torah staff to obtain emergency medical care for my child(ren) in the event such care is indicated. I understand that every effort will be made to notify a parent/guardian prior to treatment.

Photo Release 
From time to time your child’s photo may be taken in our classrooms or special events. Images of your student(s) taken at STaRS events might be published on the CST Facebook page, the CST website, the CST Connect congregational email, the STaRS e-Newsletter, or the CST mailed publication "the VIEW".  
Pickup Permissions 
Volunteer Hours 
A requirement of each Religious School family is the completion of 4 hours of volunteering during the school year. If you choose to volunteer, a list of opportunities will be given to you at the beginning of the school year. 

If you are unable to volunteer, you pay opt-out by paying $100.
Refer-a-Friend
Families who refer a new family to STaRS will receive $100 off tuition if the new family completes their registration. The new family will also receive $100 off tuition!

Your $200 deposit per student (minus discounts) is due now to secure your student(s) spot.  If you are unable to pay by credit card, logged in members may bill the deposit to your account and send a check.
