Young Families

Young family events are for toddlers through 2nd grade.

 Junior Shomrei Torah Youth (JuSTY) serves grades 3-6.

miniSHORTY (grades 7-8)

 mini-Shomrei Torah Youth (miniSHORTY) serves grades 7-8.

SHORTY (grades 9-12)

Shomrei Torah’s Reform Temple Youth Group (SHORTY) strives to provide meaningful and engaging youth experiences for teens and fosters leadership at the national, regional and congregational level.

SHORTY is open to all 9th-12th graders to enrich their connection to Judaism, socialize with fellow Jewish teens, attend local and regional events, and enhance their leadership skills.

Kehillah for Teens

Check out KEHILLAH, an exciting program for Jewish Teens Grades 8th-12th!

 

We gather every other week at Congregation Shomrei Torah and look at teen-related issues through a Jewish lens. We socialize, connect and eat together. Classes start in September, but students may join at any time of the year.
