    Yom Hashoah Commemoration "Remember Us…Then and Now" (Offsite)
    Sunday, May 5th 2:00p to 3:30p
    Featuring Gesher Calmenson and the work of the Remember Us project, the B’nai Mitzvah Project that brings to our hearts and minds the memory of children lost during the Holocaust. An intergenerational choir from CST will also be singing. Location: Friedman Center Santa Rosa. Registration required for in person and Zoom attendance.

    Rabbi's Tisch - Music of the Moment: Exploring Israeli Musical Responses to October 7th 
    Friday, May 10th 6:15p to 8:00p
    Yom Haatzmaut is a time to recognize the creation of the state of Israel through celebration and song. Often, artistic responses to a traumatic event are created after a considerable period of reflection and collective processing by the impacted group. Cantorial Soloist Erica Wisner will join Cantor Shapiro for this multimedia program that will bring examples of music related to Israel’s independence and will also explore differing musical responses to the war, such as nationalism, hope, revenge, and solidarity.  $18 for members, $22 for non-members, kids 13 and under are free.
