The Simcha Summer Camp Experience

Simcha Summer Camp is based on the idea of spreading Jewish Joy to our children and celebrating all of the great things about the Jewish summer camp experience. Each week we will feature regular activities such as:

  • Tzedakah Tuesday - giving back to our Kehillah (community) through acts of service and Chesed (loving kindness)
  • Field trips each Thursday to locations such as the Sonoma County Environmental Center, Howarth Park/Spring Lake, The EpiCenter, and a day trip to Camp Newman!
  • Enrichment Wednesdays - bringing enrichment classes such as Play-Well Teknologies (Lego building), Classroom Safari, and a great Jewish Cookoff!
  • Weekly Themes such as Bal Tashchit (caring for the environment), Sh'mirat HaGuf (taking care of your body), and Gmilut Hasadim (Acts of Loving Kindness).
  • Sports, games and physical activity every day
  • Havdallah ceremonies on Monday and Shabbat on Friday - with every other week concluding in a Family Shabbat program at CST.
  • Art, crafts, dramatic play opportunities, and quieter times to help balance the fun and chaos of camp life
